Ms. Holmes discussed international trademark clearance, registration and policing, strategic brand acquisition, licensing opportunities, consensus building with marketing teams, and developing pragmatic budgets for managing global portfolios.
With over 16 years in practice, Ms. Holmes has managed IP portfolios in over 130 countries and territories, and negotiated licenses for businesses with products in over 70 countries. She is a regular invited speaker on intellectual property, technology, licensing, advertising and social media. She has presented for the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Georgia State Bar, and Cornell Law School. In addition, she's served as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and written on legal issues for the American Bar Association.
